Die Österreichische Finanzmarktaufsichtsbehörde (FMA) hat mit Bekanntmachung im Amtsblatt zur Wiener Zeitung vom 05.02.2019 mitgeteilt, dass Velmon Enterprise Ltd (“FX Market Pro”) nicht berechtigt ist, konzessionspflichtige Bankgeschäfte in Österreich zu erbringen. Es ist dem Anbieter daher der gewerbliche Handel auf eigene oder fremde Rechnung (§ 1 Abs 1 Z 7 BWG) nicht gestattet. The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) may, inter alia, in accordance with § 4 para 7 BWG inform the public that a named natural person or legal entity is not authorized to carry out certain banking transactions (§ 1 Abs 1 BWG), if this person has given cause and one Information required by the public and proportionate to possible harm to the person concerned. With announcement in the official gazette to the Wiener Zeitung from 05.02.2019 the FMA informs therefore that

is not entitled to perform banking transactions requiring a license in Austria. Therefore, the provider is not permitted to trade on its own or for another’s account (§ 1 para. 1 no. 7 BWG).
