Die österreichische FMA hat mit Bekanntmachung im Amtsblatt zur Wiener Zeitung vom 07.02.2019 eine Warnung vor der Royston Carr Asset Management herausgegeben. Das Unternehmen hat seinen Sitz angeblich in 5F No. 173, Section 2, Datong Road, Xizhi District, New Taipei City, 22187 Taiwan (Tel: + 886 2 7703 4447, Fax: + 886 2 7703 4448, info@roystoncarr.com, www.roystoncarr.com). Die FMA teilte mit, dass die Royston Carr Asset Management nicht berechtigt ist, konzessionspflichtige Wertpapierdienstleistungen in Österreich zu erbringen. Es ist dem Anbieter daher die gewerbliche Anlageberatung in Bezug auf Finanzinstrumente (§ 3 Abs. 2 Z 1 WAG 2018) nicht gestattet.
The FMA may inform the public in accordance with Section 92 (11) 1st sentence of the Securities Supervision Act 2018 (WAG 2018) by announcing on the Internet or in a newspaper with distribution throughout the Federal territory that a named natural or legal person may carry out certain investment services transactions (§ 3 2 (1) to (4)), provided this person has given reason to do so and is required to inform the public and to be proportionate to possible disadvantages for the person concerned.
With announcement in the official gazette to the Viennese newspaper from 07.02.2019 the FMA announces therefore that
